A friend of mine recently asked me why I am so passionate about helping complete strangers with their network marketing businesses. Aside from the fact that I make an affiliate commission on the programs that I promote, he discerned that my reason for doing this was bigger and a bit more complex. He was right. After battling hard for a platinum pin and in hot pursuit of Emerald in the Amway business, I was let down by my upline, and they were, ultimately, kicked out of the business. This lead me to give up my distributorship and left me feeling like I had burned through my warm market to the point where I never wanted to approach those folks with any business, ever again!
Yet, network marketing has its appeal and the idea of leveraging the internet to build a MLM business is wildly attractive. If I could help discouraged networkers become successful, without alienating their friends and family, if I could do for a few, what I have been able to do for myself, I would consider that a mission accomplished? You know it would. Don’t we all need reasons bigger than ourselves to really find satisfaction in life? I sure do. Money, vital as it is, isn’t everything. This may seem a bit odd coming from someone that is promoting huge success. However, this is in line with my personal beliefs and core values.
